A Sustainability Program Coordinator Certificate being offered as a new statewide training program at Penn State DuBois is aimed to help businesses in all industries be prepared for new climate-related reporting and disclosers.
During the spring semester, the Human Development and Family Studies club completed a donation drive, collecting items for baby bags to be donated to Hello Neighbor, a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh that supports recently resettled refugee and immigrant families.
Penn State DuBois is preparing for two summer open house events in the coming weeks. The annual Spend a Summer Evening event will be held on June 27 and the summer Virtual Open House will take place on July 16.
Penn State DuBois has announced the campus dean’s list and part-time dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. In recognition of academic excellence, students who achieved a one-semester grade-point average of 3.50 or above and who earned 12 or more credits toward GPA are named to the dean’s list, while students who achieved a one-semester grade-point average of 3.50 or above and who earned six through 11.9 credits toward GPA are named to the part-time dean’s list.
Penn State recently announced its list of academic promotions for tenured, tenure-line and non-tenure-line faculty members across all campuses, effective July 1, 2024.

Continuing and Community Education at Penn State DuBois is preparing to offer both its die-setter training and entry-level computer numerical control (CNC) lathe training programs, with both courses starting in August.
